Well, I looked through a coin jar my Grandmother gave to my Dad last night and didn't find anything good, just common date wheaties.Link to last nights thread So, I was about to go to bed and then I happened to glance at the 4 SBA's that were also in the jar and I noticed one was different....and this is what I found:

My best find to date. Has nice luster. What would you grade it?

Tough to call a grade on this one, and I'm better with grading Modern proofs than Modern Uncs image But I'd think it's about 65/66 if there isn't too much hiding here and there...

Congrats- that is a pleasant surprise.
If there is no rub (I can't tell from these pics) I would put this one in the 62-63 range. They seem to all come baggy as hell and this one looks the same.
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"

Looks 63 to me as well. It's an excellent strike and has nice color so could get a little bump.

I agree with that grade ! Excellent find, too. Some call it a widget, I call it a cherrypick !

I agree with JRocco, a lot of these coins are baggy. For an SBA, though, it looks like a decent strike with some nice luster. I'd be surprised if it graded less than a 63.
