Now come on. The poor person wants an honest answer. Never use a grinding wheel on coins. Not because you will hurt the coin, but you could grind away part of your fingers. And as for Brillo Pads it should be known that the soap in a Brillo Pad does not come off coins easily. They must always be rinsed with battery acid after that, then rinsed in Vinegar (white wine type only), then a final rinse with spit. Put on a hood of a car and drive at approximately 50 miles and hour for 10 minutes for proper drying.
Just kidding of course. Best way is to bury them in CLEAN dirt for a week or two.

Copper soak it in red vinager for 4 to 6 hours, then Soak in pure ilive oil gfor 2 weeks. Rub it with a nice paint brush to get the rest of the grren stuff off-- Soak in alcohol and wash well.---Chainti's good! Then recolor in 10% Deller's Darkener--drink the wine thats left over and it should look pretty good!image
