Does anyone have a good PCGS one I can look at? I want to compare my Liberty to it.... in the past (according to PCGS) i am not a good judge, so I am trying to learn more.
thanks for your help.

The 1917 design was redone in 1918. The 1917s have, in general, much better strikes than the later coins. For the later SLQs PCGS wants to see hair and helmet details with the three sprigs and a complete ear hole. Often FH coins are not fully struck elsewhere. This is most obvious on the rivets on the shield. I always liked fully struck quarters that had excellent full rivets on the entire shield but just missed the FH designation.
You can see all the 1917s above have full rivets. There are many more rivets on the T1s. None of the later coins above have full rivets.
