Just wanted to thank Dave for the nice coins, they helped fill some slots.... two coins for a Morgan Collection. Part of an estate of coins from my aunt that she wants me to sell. I was having a hard time finding a circulated 84 CC on ebay,( i got sniped a few times) and he also had an 83 CC that i needed and he really came through for me.

Sad thing was, this set was 100% complete, but after my Uncles death my Aunt sold off some of the coins that were graded (including the three CC and the 1893-s!) to someone that had previously sold my Uncle some coins. She had no idea that there were part of a complete set which is unfortunate, because she never would have let them sell. At this point I dont think we want to lay out the money for the 1893-s; the one he had was graded vg-6 from ANACS. So we have an almost complete set, and I'll be putting some pics of them up in the next couple of weeks.

Anyhoo... Dave was a real class guy and the coins came in time for Christmas I really like the coin, and I have a thing for the darker toned circulated ones; makes one nostalgic, kinda like baseball cards with creases and soft corners. I much prefer to see the coins (or cards) outside of the plastic, but thats just me.

So you are putting together the set........so you can sell it? I'm not judging you...just trying to figure out why you are going through the trouble of acquiring the CC Morgans if you just plan on getting rid of them all?

Those Carson City dollars from the 1880s are actually tough in circulated condition. Most of what we have of those dates are from the distributed sealed Mint bags which were uncirculated.
