WARNING ... If you don't like Barber Quarters ... back up now !!!

So anyway, I was going to take my new ugly Barber quarter to the bank this morning … but instead I got to thinking about some of the crappy
pictures I have of these … in fact in another thread about my newest purchase, Coppernicus (Mike) made some comments about the picture that
made me look at my pictures again and decide I could do much better.

I knew my son was working tonight, and so I decided to bring some of the homely girls home for a visit. After dinner we broke out the camera and
tried really hard to take some good portraits … and had some fun with the backside shots too image

This time the pictures came out pretty good. I'm getting better at getting them accurate at least.

Way down at the bottom, the 11d is the new pickup (with a more realistic picture) … the rest have been starting to accumulate over the last five years.

So, without further delay (except from the CU server), here they are, in all of their homeliness image

Very nice pics and coins. They really look good all together.
  • Nice photographs. Were the coins photographed in slabs or were they raw?

I agree with the others that is a very nice set. Are they slabbed or raw? The photographs also look real good.

Nice set of coins, well matched! Excellent photographs as well. Are they slabbed? If not, may I suggest the ACME slabbing company?

Thanks for all the great comments image

It was fun to have them all home at once and get a chance to take some decent pictures of them. Now I can enjoy them a little more often.

I just came home for a late lunch, but to answer a few of the questions ...

Yes, I took the pictures ...

    Most of the coins are raw. Of the slabbed coins;

    00-S is a PCGS55
    05-O is a PCGS58
    08-S is a NGC55
    08-O is an ANACS55
    11-D is a NGC58

A couple of the others were slabbed, but I freed them and put them in my Wayte pages ... that means "wayte" a while and slab them later. image

Anyway, gotta eat and run off again ... thanks again for all the comments ... image
