Are there coins that you couldn't pass on buying, even though they are not part of the series that y

I don't collect Indian Cents, but I don't think I could resist buying a nice PR64 RB piece at a reasonable price if one were to show up. That's probably the only coin that I'd buy outside of my chosen series. I guess it has something to do with always dreaming of owning one as a kid.

How about you? What coin would you find so intriguing, that you would have to buy it?

    I don't collect commems (older or modern) but I couldn't pass up the Geo. Washington gold $5 that was the original design of a G.W. Quarter Pattern. I love it!

    Yes. Although I'm primarily collecting early dimes now, I recently purchased a 1799 $1 AU55, and about a year ago purchased a 1918/7 SLQ (both from the same dealer, interestingly).
