I have a "cheat sheet" for assembling my type set. It includes the types I'm looking for, along with the retail prices for three grades....the grade I'm looking for, and one grade above and below. There are some coins that I just have listed as "TDE"....Too Darn Expensive.
The list was originally prepared in probably 1998, and I update it on occasion to keep in line with the market.
"Draped Bust, Small Eagle half" is TDE, but I have a note that says "$7500+".
I just looked at Trends for this.....They're now $20,000+.
Another chance blown.
