1869 halfpenny

This rarity arrived this week. It's thought to be as rare as the 1869 penny.

It is neither a BB (body bag) nor a BB (beaded border). It is the scarce TB (toothed border).

I was planning on having it graded by NGC, but pulled it from the shipment at the last minute - I decided I liked it better in an Airtite.

I am building a complete date set, if possible (not all variations, however). This is one of the difficult dates. I'm still looking for a suitable 1871 and 1878.

Nice '69. I really like this and the '71 dates and that is one of the nicer bits in the date seen. I think mine is a NGC 64RB. '74 is an excellent date as well.
