OT: just feel that earthquake? And when's the next San Diego coin show?

BaleyBaley Posts: 22,658 ✭✭✭✭✭
I'm in San Diego and it feels a little shakey.

Which reminds me, San Diego needs a good coin show.

PaigowJhonny, where are you and do you ever feel earthquakes?

If we have a big enough quake the next San Diego coin show may end up being somewhere north of Bakersfield. lol

I'm hearing April for the EAC convention and May or June for the Scottish Rite show.

You had to be sitting still to have felt it, in a car or even walking, you'd miss it. it was a Little one image

When the "big one" does hit, and they are sure it will, just not when, I might have oceanfront property here in Vegas---if WE don't get drowned along with 2/3 of California!

There was an article in the paper Sunday about a group of working on a new earthquake prediction theory and said that southern California would have a 6.5 before Sept 5, but mentioned about 120,000 square miles.

So far they are 2 for 2.

Little earthquakes either help relive the stress to delay the big ones, or shift enough to put new pressure on to trigger the big ones.

Nothing here in TN. Although we occassionally have 3 or 2 level quakes. The only known biggie was the 1812 one that shifted the direction of the Mississippi and rang church bells in Boston.

For those in San Diego, it was just south of San Clemente Island. I would imagine Coronado felt it the most.
