internation shipping ? again

ok, my buyer is from Japan. before most folks said it should run around 6.00, but when went to the PO they said 16.25 for parcel was the cheapest they had. do I need to ship fedex or is the guy at the PO not telling me of a cheaper method ? thanks for the help. Roy

No. Ask for "Global Priority" http://www.usps.com/global/globalprioritymail.htm
Costs $5 and the package normally gets there within a week.
