Hype or Demand

What's driving the market for 89cc's? 6 months ago a low grade Fine of this caliber would sell for $350-$400. Why the sudden increase in price? How much of this increase is driven simply by hype, and how much by collector demand?

check this out: 1 hr. to go and already over $800

Supply and demand. There are many coins right now that need significant upward price adjustments in the various pricing guides. Early large cents, Red Indians and Red early Lincolns are good examples.

Instead of following the crowd in all things, why not

collect those always desirable series, that havnt fully,

as yet, participated in the "Double nuclear market" . Chasing

a coin to the sky ,may mean a nasty fall back to earth.
There once was a place called
