What do you consider 2001 world silver bullion coins?

Hello all. This is my first post over here. I am assembling a set of silver bullion coins from around the world for the year 2001. I already have the Kook, Maple leaf, britannia, eagle, libertad and hope to have a panda soon. What other coins are missing from my set? I am looking for 1 ounce silver coins minted primarily for bullion value. I think that the Isle of Man Silver Cats in proof are more of a collector coin than bullion coin. What about the Somalia silver Monkey (which I can't find for sale) or the Zambia elephant (which trades for much more than silver melt, where I have found it)? Also, should I include the Australian Kangaroo or the Lunar series coins? Thanks. Your experienced opinions are appreciated.

  • Israel mints some pretty amazing stuff in silver. Don't have a link but you might want to look around and send Lucybop a PM. Maybe she can provide some guidance.

The netherlands have a "silver ducat" They have the same dementions and specifications as ASE's.

You can find one on e-bay for sure.

  • What about the 2001 Austrian 10 Kreuzer (92.5% Ag), the 2001 France Silver Ultimate Franc (99.9% Ag), or the 2001 North Korea 1 Ounce Silver 10 Won (40 mm) coin (92.5% Ag)? World bullion or just silver commems?

    I'm putting together a similar set-- so far I have a 2005 and 2007 Britannia, a 1988 and 2006 Maple Leaf, a 2005 and 2006 Panda, a 1988 and 2005 silver eagle, a 1984 and 2006 Libertad, a 2007 Koala, and a 1993 and 2003 Kookaburra. I have these all in Lighhouse Capsules in a red 24-coin display tray with a sliding plastic cover-- they look great!
