Best time of year to sell at auction?

Greetings, All --

If I were going to upgrade my collection and sell off a few coins, when would be the best time of year to do so? I'm assuming that December and January are bad because people have holiday-related expenses. The summer months might be slow as well...

Which month would be best?

Dan

Hard to say, rt now it all depends on what you are selling .
you have summer vacation for a lot of people, april is tax time,
december is holidays. schools start up in august so parents have to pay
for college. I would look for a major show and see what else the auction
company you choose is selling to see if it is related to your items
If a major collection is being sold you will probable see more people bidding

Now is a great time! The last week before Christmas is slow, but not during the buying season. Three days after Christmas, it is back strong.

If I were going to sell at auction it would be at FUN in January or
the ANA in late July early August.....
