Boom: I see a 1943......but the date does not look right........an altered date 1948 copper cent in your link (?)........is what you want us to grade and place a value on?

Grade? Better than an AU but I can't make out if there is any luster on the coin.

    Value? Tough one.

The coin is surely a copper coated 1943 cent. You can even see where the copper is worn off.....Ken

Thanks boom, I did not realize there was a larger version. That was SMALL before!

That is a 1943 date but it looks coated to me as I see no luster and the lettering is showing signs of color differences.

But I can't be sure on autenticity.

By the way, I am posting the reverse of that $20 for you in that other post as I finally found it.

It's not genuine... and the picture is far too compressed to reach a grade, regardless...

Cant tell for sure from the picture, is it slabbed? If not,one would have to wonder why not on such a mega coin like that if it is real.

Edit added: After posting above started wondering on the total graded pops for the bronze 43-P

Boom...if this coin is in your possession, put a magnet to it.

image To my preceding three Numismatic Brethren, starting with question #!- Islemangu...It's not slabbed #2 Rusty...No, I won't! And #3 My pal-Razorface- Yes, I've conducted the magnet test! It doesn,t stick to a magnet! That ought to just about answer your question,Rusty(Billiardmaster) and Mr. Perry and my boy,airplanenut....WRONG!!!
