some of the East India Company Victorian coppers?
I can't find any "one cent" denominations, let alone this particular "divided legend" 1845 copper cent.
(I just can't seem to photograph copper properly, but maybe these images will be enough for someone {Brad?} to help me out.)
The diameter is 28.5mm and the weight is 9g. Similar obverse and reverse designs abound in various metals, denominations and sizes, but KM#481.5 is a slightly wider silver One Rupee, and I can't find anything else that's even close in size. The points on the top leaves of the wreath almost overlap with less space between them than any of the pictures of similar designs in Krause appear to have.
It's a strong VG that a seller threw in with a minor silver piece, and my curiosity is really piqued!
