Is there anyone other than PCGS.......

....who sells/makes the 50 state quarters with flags? (Anyone other than PCGS)

I'm looking for something compared to what the US Mint is selling...the state quarter/stamp collections, except instead of stamps I'm looking for an inexpensive quarter/flag collection that is not slabbed.

Is there such a thing available? If so, who...where?

Thank you for your reply,

put your silver proofs in those things...how long would it take for a monster rainbow set to emerge? image
  • Placid~~thank you very much...I checked those out!

This is kind of what I had in mind:

This is offered by the US Mint, but instead of the stamps, I was looking for the quarters and FLAGS, if such a thing exists. I know that PCGS offers each state in a slab with the state flag, however I didn't want the slab.

    Thanks,

    With the state flags?

Geez! That's news to me! Never seen one!

  • Thanks relayer...you beat me to it!

Aren't they neat...I really like them...except I like to get "up close and personal" with my coins...stamps...collections...etc...something that you can't do when they are in a slab!

There was a 50 subject stamp sheet of state flags a number of years back. You could buy one of those and replace the postcard stamps with the flag stamps.

Were those offered by the Post Office? If so, maybe I could check with a stamp collector?

The stamps in the collection offered by the mint are encapsulated, so they would not be removeable.

Yes, those stamps were an official postal issue, Bugs. I wanna say they were issued during the Bicentennial year, but don't quote me on that. It was the 1970's, at any rate. I think.

I was right. They were a Bicentennial issue.

No shortage of 'em on eBay.
