Does anyone here get in person Baseball Autographs?

If so.. what time does the bus usually leave when they go from the hotel to the stadium?

Also.. in particular how are the signing habits Vladdy on the Expos?

    TGray,

just curious, do you have any autos ( in person or certified ) of any players of the Lakers-Cowboys-Mets

would be interested in buying if your selling and if the price is decent

    plmk. thanks, dave
  • They usually leave about 3 hours before game time. Some times a little earlier than that. Depending on the organization, it's not mandatory to take the bus, so some enjoy a few hours on the town, and make it to the stadium on their own.

As for Guerrero, one of the better signers I've had a chance to "meet". His english isn't all that great, so if you say something to him, it better be in spanish image.
  • what type of pen would you suggest to use on a baseball?

  • One of those Bic ballpoint pens. Not the cheap kind, get the real deal. image
  • i prefer sharpie markers. before u get a card auto'd, select cards with a solid background and use a pen or marker that is a complimentary color to the background
I collect cards of these players: Mike Hampton , Ripken , Chipper Jones, A-Rod, Ivan Rodreguez, Derek Jeter, Game-Used & Auto of any Sport. [IMG]C:My Documentsjerome.jpg[IMG]
  • When I was in Denver like a month ago I went to the cubs hotel at 8:30 am. Gametime was 1:00. 2 players walked to the stadium at like 8:45, most of them were around 9:30-10:00. A few walked, a few took cabs, some had a private car pick em up, and announcers/radio guys and a few players got in a big coach bus. I had very good luck with autos with cubs players.

    I think I got 14 autos that 1 morning.

I had a cubs mini that I got signed with a silver sharpie. And then blue bic pens for balls.

  • Sharpie auto'd baseballs are just fugly.
  • I usually just hit up minor league games. Players are more accessible. Going to the Smokies game on June 7th and get Rick Ankiel to sign my Memphis Redbirds jersey. Miguel Cabrera may be there if he isn't called up to AAA.

they bleed into the ball also. Turn yellow around the edges.
