Does anyone remember who auctioned the last brilliant white 1948 D Franklin PCGS MS66FBL...

and how much it sold for, plus or minus the buyers fee. I thought it was Superior or Heritage but couldn't remember, and couldn't find it anywhere.

thanks for your help

Teletrade results are interesting on this one. In 2001, four of them sold in a range of $1100 to $1550. None sold in 2002. One sold so far this year, on 01.29, and went for only $600.

  • Those are all toned coins, I looked at tt, and they didn't have any brilliant ones. I remeber someone (one of the majors...heritage, superior, Goldberg, etc.) that had a brillant one, someone told me it went for over $3000, which I think is about accurate, but wanted some solid figures.

    thanks for the input
