80-S is known for an excellent strike.....the breast and hair on this one are weak.....AU-55/58...but still pretty.

KKid was the closest! It's ANACS MS-62 DMPL. The photo didn't show the DMPL cause you can't get it all in one pic.

It ain't even close to AU, though.

You're right, which is another demonstration why photos can be so deceptive. Mine was taken from different lighting and processed a bit differently. But both sets of pix are accurate.

BTW, I'm working on a technique to AT a coin in Photoshop and post it here to see if anyone can tell.

Your pics NWCS I don't think do the fields justice. It's hard for those types of coins to show well.

If you want it might be a canidate for CC's photo thing. It is really hard to get mirrors and color at the same time. I do like the rev. pics by Brad. It shows the color better.

True, it doesn't show the field's quality, but it shows the overall color well. You just can't get it all.

I'm sure he has a life, i spent an hour trying to get a pic of the Rev. that showed the coin accurately. I agree send it to Coppercoins see what he could do with it.
