You're right, which is another demonstration why photos can be so deceptive. Mine was taken from different lighting and processed a bit differently. But both sets of pix are accurate.
BTW, I'm working on a technique to AT a coin in Photoshop and post it here to see if anyone can tell.
If you want it might be a canidate for CC's photo thing. It is really hard to get mirrors and color at the same time. I do like the rev. pics by Brad. It shows the color better.
I'm sure he has a life, i spent an hour trying to get a pic of the Rev. that showed the coin accurately. I agree send it to Coppercoins see what he could do with it.

Your pics NWCS I don't think do the fields justice. It's hard for those types of coins to show well.
