Frank, is that coin dark, or is it the lighting?

These old eyes of mine need lots of lighting.

  • Bear - its the lighting - You can only throw so much on it without getting glare - but it's actually a little lighter than the pic - it's in an NGC holder, so you can judge by the background.

I like that coin a lot Frank. Is it blue, red and gold?

Edited to add: I am on my laptop at work and images don't show well.

Going from bottom to top it's Blue/green to Red/purple to orange/gold

  • I like it. Very rich colors. Is that some bag textile toning on the cheek?

    Very nice.

  • Only Frank can decide if the coin's for him, but I can honestly say I really liked it when I saw it. I bought it in Baltimore from forum member DrewU. Therefore Frank, if she's not for you, I won't mind at all seeing her again.

The coin is much brighter than depicted, demonstrates a lot of texitle pattern and is loaded with luster which is something I really like in a nicely toned piece.

Frank, how about that board I sent with it?

Very nice coin and with rare textile to boot. Wish GSAGUY would throw me a bone or two too. That didn't sound quite right.

Try resetting the white balance - the NGC insert background should be white. That will help in showing the true color of the coin.
