Any key date is worth it to get it slabbed. If nothing else, it authenticates it. I would think that would be benefical down the road; either for selling it, or having a guarantee that it is genuine.
It has already been authenicated by ANACS in 1976 as original. This is when they only had photo certification. I will, however, send it to one of the big 3 for slabbing. Thanks, Ken
I can't tell by the scan for sure but the S MM looks questionable. It just sits on the coin and does not "blend." May just be the scan though. Definately get it autenticated or looked at by a very reputable dealer. Many years ago I got burned( before certification) by one of these coins. It would also help if we could see the VDB clearer.
