Got these from Marty today - I don't know about you guys - but I think they're really cool!

All the coins are cristal clear - any fuzzyness must've been due to the camera moving.

Oh, and BTW, I've pulled plenty of these that look like that directly from the proof packaging. You might want to bone up on that a bit.

i've seen many of those colors in unopened sets too (tho some are incredible). i've bought some from dealers who could care less about the color for the same price as an untoned one. i really doubt they're going to that kind of trouble for no reason.

Hate to tell you this Ed - but once again you're talking without knowing much about the subject. These came from proofsets - these nickels do tone odd colors, and it happens particularly in these years. Anyone who looks through a lot of 60-64 proof sets could tell you that - but of course - you're too busy listening to yourself.

Frank, The coins and the display are awe inspiring.The value of the coins is not always as

important as the visual beauty . I never thought I could fall in love with a Madison Nickel,

but doggon it, I have fallen head over heels out of my mind in love with them their coins.

Sorry Ed, no Potatos for these guys, over the years I have pulled the colorful ones out of the proof sets (I have almost gome through as many as Russsssss!). I have a motebook full of them. Most of the real dark ones are gone now. But I still have plenty of others...
