Opinions of David Lawrence's New Website Design

Personally, I can't stand it, the old method of searching for coins was so much easier. They now have it setup like the start programs menu on Windows. I like to search around there when I get bored, but this will be cut down now, though I have only purchased two or three coins from them only, so I hope no one thinks I am pimping their site. Any other opinions on their new website design?

If I had it my way, stupidity would be painful!
Here are some reply's to your comments:
KISS: In respsonse to the KISS criticism, the old site was broken, in some ways. We were limited with the future ability to interface with our back end database and increase inventory, etc. A lot of the new features of the site are invisible to the end user but critical for our growth.
Menu System: We thought at first that using cascading menus on the left side would be a big plus, because it would allow users to access inventory from a single click at any place in the site. As it turns out, the code was really slowing down the site for some users so Greg and I worked until midnight last night and changed the menu system. I think the pages will load much faster now.
New Purchases: As far a 1-day of new purchases, we can easily fix that. In fact, for now you can use this link (and bookmark it) if you want access to 1 day of new coins: http://www.davidlawrence.com/coins/SearchResults.cfm?PickSeries=New&numdays=-1&display=1
Advanced Search: We noticed that very few people were looking for anything but PCGS and NGC but we'll put ANACS back in for starters.
Remember, that the web site is only the most superficial aspect of our organization. We still pride ourselves in giving the best customer service in the biz and who else has 4300 certified coins for sale. We added about 600 new coins last week alone.
Thanks again for your feedback. We're on the case!

very easy to get around and my connections were fast
and smooth, no problems here. I think people hate change.

Askari: In response to your question, we don't currently have any plans to sell foreign coins or currency. To be honest, I'd like to expand into U.S. gold a little more (better dates, not "generic"). We've also tossed around the idea of having a live auction. Other thoughts include certified comic books, or even gemstones. Anything is possible here at DLRC, as long as it conforms with our general philosophy of selling third-party graded collectibles with an emphasis on value and customer service. We will ALWAYS be most dedicated to certified coins, though.
Actually, take a look at Northeast Numismatics. They appear to have found themselves a niche with higher-end slabbed world coinage. In fact, they've really made a niche for themselves. It might offer some better upside potential than treading where everybody else has gone.

as long as I can get around a site without much trouble all I care about is nice coins and the right price. A big plus also is if you can add pictures to most of them,I know lots of man hours.
Pennies make dollars, and dollars make slabs!
