This coin is available out there somewhere but I haven't seen one in over 25 years. A superb gem 1840 to 1851 no motto seated quarter. By today's standards a no holds barred MS66 with blast and original color. A seemingly simple coin that is essentially non-existent. Forget nearly all the dozen or so 66's currently slabbed. Doubt they would even be considered gem. The early quarters in this grade are rarer than the halves or dimes. By 1852 they start showing up looking real nice. Still looking for just ONE exceptional coin.....
Since the Amon Carter 1794 $ is taken I'd say a pretty unc. 1792 1/2 10c. or 1793 chain cent. Small eagle half upgrade wouldn't be bad. Truth....if I owned the grant* I would consider a trade for your Missouri! RR...you are sooo right about the quarters....best one I've seen in last year was PCGS64...now 65 . K
