Windex used to treat copper?

I have been told , that the use of windex on cents will spruce up the coin for a few months.

after that time the coin will deteriorate quickly. Is it possible, that could have happened to the now

infamous 1963 -70 grade cent????

Isn't windex basically ammonia with some blue color added and something else to cut the smell?

Some Member was accused by Ol'Funderburke, Ebay Pepperdoodles, as having done that to a coin he sold to Pepperdoodles. If I recall correctly, the Member almost left the Forum over the silly incident. As if his integrity would have been questioned, rather than that of the buyer! Pfffff.

i'm pretty sure windexing old copper (large cents, etc) would be a serious mistake.
