Gold quarter question

I recently acquired a gold quarter. Someone told me at another forum that there were prototype 1999 gold quarters made from the same material as the Sacagawea(sp?) dollar. Is it possible this is one? They were only made at the Philly mint (which this is) and only the first five quarters (1999). Supposedly there are only 15 of these recorded.

Could this be one, or is it just gold plated?

Plated. Millions were plated and are numismatically worthless. Same thing as the painted ones.
