Is this a fair deal?

Saw an ad from Littleton's selling 2003 ASE's for $7.95/each (max 5) with free shipping, also claiming it is their cost.

I just received my first ASE (2001 PCGS MS69) the other day and really like it, but don't know the pricing of raw ASE's.

Is Littleton's offer a fair deal?

  • It's a fair deal. They use those type of sales to get you on their list then they send you overpriced crap without your permisson. Read the small print in the ad.

I don't like Littleton because they slam newbie collectors with approval services
that are camouflaged and outrageously priced..

Littleton usually gives "one" fair deal. But then you get on their mailing list, and they keep sending you coins, which you have to send back otherwise you are stuck paying outrageous prices for those coins sent. What always comes to my mind when I see Littleton, is those CD music deals, buy 1 for only 10 cents, but then you need to buy another 5 in the next year at triple the price!

Thanks for the info.. so essentially, it's a fair deal but not worth the future hassles.

    Thanks agaiin.

You can buy them at $7/ea at any coin show, or about $6.60 if you buy a roll.
