Not all scams are in on-line auctions!

There is a full page advertisement in the new Westways magazine from the Southern California Auto Club for free State quarters - "You just only pay for the capsules and sealing labor which is $2.50 each", plus $3 s/h per year set! image

The banner reads "Unclaimed valuable uncirculated State Quarters available for only the cost of protective capsule - no matter what their value"image

Next lie, I mean lineimage: "All have appreciated by at least 100% and some by over 400%"

For a real bargain you can buy all 20 capsules with their free contents for only $36. image

These are all "unclaimed" by "a small percentage of customers". image

Hurry, hurry, hurry, offer good for only 10 days after you read the notification.image

Sorry, cash, check, credit card or money order only, no PayPal! image

Yeah, some people buy the quarters for $0.50 and some for $1.00!

There are lots of stupid people out there, though. I remember one ad on TV was for "BU" morgans that were so rare you had to get them! Only $69.95 each, limit 10.

Sucker born every minute and a sheister to sell it to them!
  • Thats not as bad as the Coin Vault guys. Last night they had gold and platinum plated quarters. You got 40 rare quarters for only $149.00

  • I bought two mint roll sets of Illinois quarters only because I live in Illinois. I own no other State Quarters.
