I found his reply to you interesting. He doesn't seem to think much about the doctor task force. When he said "Don't buy AT coins" I was kinda thinking well if we knew they were bad we wouldn't and when he said "Encourage dealers to work with the grading services." I was thinking about what Wondercoin said last week about how he didn't go by there anymore because they had gotten hard to deal with.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
I thought that Dave had some good and tough questions tonight, and gave forthright answers. The answer to Android's and my question provided more than expected for me. Dave gave a stong assurance that "he's on it". I will follow the development of "the committee" but, it is nice to know that pcgs will "jump on this most worthwhile bandwagon" as well, now. Let's get some solid, that's solid information to Dave. I'd like to see what he does with it. Here's your chance, all you "in the know" guys and gals... a no risk offer!!! The only thing about asking questions on the Q & A forum is that you can't edit your question. I couldn't go back and replace the period with a question mark.
I am anxiously awaiting for your opinion on this new group and whether PCGS supports this effort.
Thanks,
Andy >>
His answer, although forthcoming, did not anwer my question. I know that David Hall is working very hard within the constructs of PCGS to help tackle this problem, but I would like to know if PCGS will actively participate with this new group. It's going to be difficult if the rivalry and personalities involved with both NGC and PCGS can't function in unison behind a common goal.
Andy
We are finite beings, limited in all our powers, and, hence, our conclusions are not only relative, but they should ever be held subject to correction. Positive assurance is unattainable. The dogmatist is the only one who claims to possess absolute certainty.

Exactly why I thought the coin had been doctored.
