This was passed to me by my mailman today. He said since I was the coin guy on his route then I should take a look at this.

Comments and speculation is appreciated.

Looks like a 2 headed nickel, about $5 on E-Bay...

Indeed.. the 1995 side has been ground down to just the obverse face, and the 1998 side reverse carved out with a metal lathe. Easy process if you can work in close tolerances.

Yep, novelty piece. I heard that on a good one you cannot see the seam without 10x mag.
