on the scale of aswimmer 1 to anaconda 10, it looks like a 3 or 4 to me as to "realness"

and is probably a 6 or 7 on eye appeal.

Hard to tell from scan (blurry) looks more like a tie-dyed T-Shirt more than a Nickel but anything can happen when toning is involved.

The with usual disclaimer about grading the picture/scan, I would tend to agree with Rainbowroosie on this one. It has nice appeal and is mostlikely original.

I vote... REAL!!!

Take this for example. It is TomB's and an NGC MS67*... he showed it to me, and I can honestly say (and he can attest, too) that my jaw dropped when I saw it. It is a stunning coin, and it shows that the silver jeffs really do tone great colors... I think I have seen certified ones like yours, so my vote stays at real... nice coin!!!

Very pretty! I think I've seen that pattern and type of toning on slabbed coins before, so my uneducated vote is real.

Without seeing the coin firsthand for a patina surface, I truly believe it's natural toning. The coin perpheries look right and I have seen this toning before. Is it for sale?
