NGC economy results (33 days to grade)
Sent 8 coins each to NGC and PCGS via economy services to test turnaround times and to assess "how tough" they were grading.
NGC results posted today after 33 days, still waiting for PCGS. NOTE: All coins in both submissions are color coins, nothing was brilliant.
First grade is NGC's, grade in (xx) was my "guess."
1946 roosie MS 67 (66)
1952 roosie MS 66 (66)
1954S roosie MS 66 (67)
1953S roosie MS 66 (67+) uugghh!
1962D frankie MS 65 (65 FBL)
1951D wash MS 66 (66)
1943 merc MS 67 (67)
1943D jefferson MS 66 (66)
Overall, IMHO fairly graded.... Was disappointed ($$$$ wise) with the 1962D frankie, clearly FBL?? But for me, the killer was the 53S roosie????.... Way too nice a coin to slab 66, and twenty-five times better than the 1946 roosie they slabbed 67??.....Oh well.....Will post the PCGS results when they are available.

Did you send the same type of stuff to both services?

If you're used to PCGS's criterion for FBL, then maybe that's what got you. NGC's criterion for FBL is different (and, some say more strict).

Providing you are a paying club member to both services, the NGC service can be 10% cheaper since they give you a discount on online submissions. Of course, you could probably hit your local authorized deaer up for a discount to either service if you do enough submissions.
