First Day Coin Cover Question?

Can anyone tell me if the FDCC from the mint have superb strikes due to being minted on the first day and are they glued to the cover or in a plastic holder on the coin cover? Thanks

Pennies make dollars, and dollars make slabs!

....inflation must be kicking in again this dollar says spend by Dec. 31 2004!

    It's been a while and I seem to remember the coin being in a plastic enclosure.... someone else may be able to better answer the question.

    Here's my question though.... has anyone ever had a First Day coin graded? Will they mark "First Day..." on the slab?...Just curious.

    Most o fthe first day coin covers I had rcvd look around MS65/66. None of them look to be worth grading. I have all of them and I am just collecting those overpriced things to just have as collectors items.
