I was getting slabs like that from ANACS a few years ago, But the number I would guess 3 or 4 years...

Don't know if they're strictly sequential, but I got two 862xxx numbers on a submission in early 1996.

Don't know when it was slabbed but thats a shame what happened to that coin. Still it looks great.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but couldn't ANACS look up their number and give an exact date?

They probably could, but would be reluctant to (just like PCGS won't divulge that information.)

Sorry, I'm three days behind on reading the forum. That slab is either an ANACS 13 (1992-1995) or an ANACS 14 (1995 - April 2000) What color is is ANACS logo on the back hologram? ANACS 13 used a red hologram while ANACS 14 uses a slightly larger silver-gray or greenish hologram logo.
