This toning would fool me

Here is a picture of an AT Peace Dollar:

Anyone care to tell me telltale signs that could be gleaned from the picture? I think it would fool me, at least from the picture.
Edited to finx link that I moved on the site.

I can't wait for the real experts to chime in.

Looks like artificial color -> no open spaces at all, no retractions from any letters or any field/device junction. Picture does not show, but I would imagine that luster is no longer seen.
(pushing it back up the line to see if there are any more)

It looks darned good to me too - did it get bodybagged? By which service?

dorkkarl, Market Acceptible might be a good term for it.
Marty, I wouldn't read too many red flags into it just from the picture I posted. Pictures are limited, of course. In real life, it may be that other things would be apparent. Maybe a flatness to the toning, etc.
This may be one that I experiment with myself. I am thinking of buying a roll of 64 Kenndys for some experimenting I will say sorry to the Kennedy fans now, but it has to be something silver, MS, and something that I can overdip clean afterwards and still have it worth bullion value.

That's a pretty nice looking Peace dollar. However, I am definitely not an expert on toned Peace dollars, probably because they're so hard to find.
I've attached a scan of the ONLY one in my personal collection.
Thanks for the post.
