Oshkosh Show, Okay. Picked up a few items.

I headed up to the Oshkosh Show today. The place was packed when I got there. It was tough to get to the tables. I did pick up one raw--Gem 1937-S Mercury dime. A couple of other odd ball things. The Mercury dimes that I did see, were not up to snuff for me. Some stuff in the teens, twenties, and thirties, but out of the about 30 Mercs, that was the only one that I wound up with. I did pick up a 1976 Silver Ike there, too. It is an easy 67 with a shot at 68.

I met mbbiker at the show. Anyone else go? All in all, a pretty good show.

I couldnt come, but it sounded prety good. How was gold selling?

I just got back from the show a few minutes ago and thought i would tell everyone what i found (or didn't find) First off the show was packed it was hard to even walk around much less stop and look at somthing. Talked with a few dealers and they said that state quarters and PF sets were the hot sellers. I went to look for AH kennedy halves and only saw 2 1964 kennedys and no 1964 PF (no AH's), I saw a few dealers with ACG, NTC was more easily found, but most dealers had raw, PCGS or NGC. I met fcloud there and we agreed that there wasn't much worth buying. I picked up a few things here and there just becasuse i wanted to buy somthing, I'll post pics tommorow. If anyone else went how did you think the show went?

I didn't ask on pricing, but I did see gold sell both ways. I saw some dealers buy and some dealer sell.

Gold was a hot item, I almost picked up a MS-63 saint for $525 but i was a little short on cash.
