Yes, as long as you provide a valid CC#, I think you can have several ids.

I guess you are allowed more than one, I never really thought about it. I have always been myself as wingedliberty on Ebay. I don't see the necessity for multiple IDs, unless someone unfairly gave you
negative feedback and you want to startover, I guess.

I recently signed up for another id.... I didn't want anyone to figure out my 2nd id.... I never wondered if it was against the rules?

Yes , I did receive your pm, and responded. , but I don't think you have your pm reception activated.
I am not sure that you can receive pm. See my response above.

lets say someone has 3 ebay i.d. s what to stop that person from bidding on thier own auctions?, using the diffrent ones? thanks
  • It is legal to have two ids, I just wish I had used a second and you all know why. If I buy something on ebay then people can go back and look at your buy vs sell and come to conclusions that hurt . I was reading where most bigger ebayer use one id to buy and one to sell. Believe me I will be doing this from now on to prevent the kind of mob attack on me for buying a hot plate and some photo chemiicals. I am just glas that this was not 1939 Germany and I was a non -jew buying a minorah and some dreddles for a gift, god knows where I would have been if the same sort of mob mentality that happened here branded me as a jew when I was not.

  • Lucy....Why the 2 ebay Id's? The second one you say is so people dont know you?

Well that's SUSPECT......I've seen better people than you go down on here for less than that....

What are you hiding? Trying to sell off some AT coins perhaps?????????

    Lets get her guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Actually I believe it is against Ebay rules but they don't enforce it and everyone flaunts it.

I have two ebay I.D.'s one for selling and one for buying. My reasoning is that if I buy something and I am forced to give a negative to someone that deserves it and not worry about getting a retalatory negative on my selling I.D. where it would hurt me when selling. mike image

I two id's so a person like coinTOAD can get nervous about it.... Looks like it worked...
