Wow! I just have to share a Laugh.......Pasta Pro and Coins

With tensions running so high around here for the past 24hrs I thought I would share a laugh with you. I believe Junk Coin sellers have hit a new low.

My wife ordered a Pasta Pro pot a month or so ago. She was to receive a large pasta pot, a smaller pasta pot, a parmesan cheese grater, and a SPECIAL BONUS. My wife received the package this week and she is so exited about the special bonus. She presented it to me with the same pride one would have with any great achievement. She knows how much I love coins. I am still laughing (inside) at the Bonus and her reaction. I just don't have the heart to tell her that I'm going to put it where it will unlikely ever again see the light of day.imageimageimage

Some of the nicest natural color I've seen on the elusive Liberian $10.

  • Man, that thing is seriously hideous. Still, better keep your mouth shut or you'll be cooking your own pasta. image

Actually the pots work very well. My son lives on macaroni & cheese and he has used the small pot everyday. Maybe I should throw the coin in with his mac & cheese and see what kinda toning I could get. heheimage

I like angel hair pasta the best. Especially Ranzoni.

My guess is you'd end up with a poisoned kid. But maybe a real "eBay Monster". Who knows.

    Brian.
  • Went from look at this ugly coin to what kind of pasta can it make, the thread keeps getting weirder. image

grip--yes its the one with the holes in the lid.

Brian-- Its just a non stick cooking pot with holes in the lid to drain the water without a collandar. It does not actually make pasta.

MS71-- if you knew my son you would not see that as a problem.

    Kid--yes, very weird

Go for it!!!! I wonder how many members will recognize the end product as cheese-toning. You'll fit right in on eBay.

    hey Fats...welcome

I must admit I have a few people in my life who really dont understand coins. They in the past have attempted to buy me coins for holiday gifts. I actually had to put a stop to it because out of years of gifts only 2 keepers was a ms69icg 5 gold peice, and a 100 bag of silver...

all the rest is weighing down the safe to slow any thief down.

But i do know deep down every gift had love attached, just as your wifes did.

Im sure if she really knew, that wouldve been the last thing she bought.

BUT GOD BLESS EM FOR TRYING

    again welcome Fats

Hey that pasta pro is excellent. I got the big pot at chef central. There wasn't any coins with the pot. It's great the lid is a built in strainer with a lock.
