Platinum Proof Actual Mintages

Does anyone know where I can find the ACTUAL mintage numbers for American Eagle platinum proof coins? I've looked all over the Internet, but I can't find a definitive list of ACTUAL proof mintages. I don't know if/why this is such a secret.
The US Mint does publish a listing (by month) for American Eagle bullion sales (no proofs in this list though). Yes, the Mint also does publish its TARGET American Eagle proof numbers, but as far as I can tell they are not necessarily the ACTUAL mintage numbers at the end of the year. I believe I understand correctly that the proof sales stop once either the TARGET is exceeded or the last sales date expires (late December of each year), which ever comes first.
Case in point, the 2002 $100 Eagle platinum proof: TARGET = 4,000 single coin set + 10,000 in the 4-coin set (US Mint) ; ACTUAL = 3,164 single coin set + 6,738 in the 4-coin set (Coinworld). Glad I bought one
Appreciate any help,
