Yeah i get it all the time from my parents i got a 2002-P MS-68 sac about 2 weeks ago and when i told them i paid $30 for it they atually grounded me because i wasted my money!!! I thought $30 was a great deal, they said to go to the bank and i could get a whole roll for less than $30. Can't wait until they find out about my 1876-CC trade dollar

I have the best wife in the world about my coin buying, she does not ask, or care. Sometimes I buy her expensive stuff too so I guess my coins really cost more than the price paid to the dealer.........

My wife understands I am building assets. She really doesn't care, and she even goes to coin shows with me. Of course like everyone else, she has a folder for state quarters. I show her whenever I get a new coin. Hey, the bills get paid! She has seen me make a few bucks on a coin now and then. Some of the coins she has purchased as gifts for me over the years include a 1942/1 Mercury Dime, 1937-D 3 legged Buffalo, 1921-D Walking Liberty half, 1/4 oz Gold Eagle (when they come out), and more.

I used to. I had three groups of auctions last month where I made about $1000.00, over what I paid. That was pretty effective to shut her yapping, nagging pie hole!! LOL

I get it all the time from my parents and brother and sister. I then tell them that it is none of their business at all what I do with my money. Simple as that. It may sound rude to say, but after a while you get tired of it.

Nah, my folks support my intrests. They help me figure out what to say to a dealer so I can get the best money for my coins and ask me how my profits are. Although they do wonder why I am on this forum so often.
