Why you should participate in the coin swaps

I have now participated in the last two coin swaps on the coin swap board. I really enjoy them. Its better than Christmas because what you get is always a surprise. And you know you'll like it because its coins and not just underwear. So far I've recieved a proof set, a couple of raw half dollars(Kennedy & Walker), and most recently a very nice deep gold toned Buffalo Nickel. Its really a blast. I can't wait for the next one. What I don't understand is that with all the forum members here why so few participate. If you participate tell us about your experiences and if you don't participate please tell me why. Thanks

Heres my recently delivered swap. The toning is a real deep gold. In fact my wife thought it was a gold coin.

Very nice Buff Fatman. I participate in many swaps and its been very nice with many forum members.
Alot of this goes on, you just never hear enough about it.

I've usually just been a bystander, just watching the results/outcomes of these things....just haven't had the guts to get in and get my feet wet. You guys sure trade some good stuff and it seems more generous than the regular set limits for the swaps. It's just a little intimidating that I might not send enough coins and maybe piss someone off. Maybe I'll participate one day

I think it's a neat idea, unfortunately all I collect is gold & I don't have anything suitable to send. I'm looking for that first Gold Swap........
