Two Monster Morgans Never before seen

If any of you saw the ten toned Morgans I listed on the BST, those were just the beginning. Actually, I acquired a substantual hoard of coins out of original bags and rolls. Here are two from a bag of 83-O Morgans. These will be off to either NGC or PCGS, depending really on if PCGS can speed up their service to a reasonable level.

I would also like to point out that imaging these coins has been extrememely difficult. Believe it or not, they look even better than the photos. MAULUMAL was over here the other night and saw these in person, he can attest to their monster status.

Definitely nice coins! How is the luster on them?

The luster is great under the toning. The problem is, when you hit the coin with enough light to show the colors, it washes out the luster. I have a copy stand that should improve the pictures, but I still haven't assembled it yet. It requires some drilling, and I can not find my drill.

At this point mbbiker, they are not for sale. I'm waiting to see how they are graded. There are eight coins in this group, I only imaged two. I believe four should make 64, one 65, and three 63. Then again, with the colors these coins have, I am not so sure a point either way is going to make a big difference. Anyhow, once they come back, if any of them are going to be sold, I will offer them here on the BST board first.

Really! Don't be offended; I have already admitted my shortcomings regarding toned coins.

I s'pose it could just be the imaging.

Actually, imaging these is very difficult, hopefully in a few days I will be able to provide some better images.
