lower feather on Indian Head Cents

How much of the design was redone to change the look of the last feather in pointing one letter down in 1886? Master hub, dies. What must have happened to these?

The entire design was modified slightly, the most obvious being all the feathers lower in varying degrees. Minor changes exist in the chin to neck line, slope of the nose, etc...I've been having server problems so this may not load, but it compares some profile changes link
