After all he consulted with some dealers and the general concensus was that they're real.

As these are estate pieces , all sales are final.

He forgot to explain just what the "estate pieces" are pieces of. image

I have never seen anything like it and believe it is a game counter or play money. It is NOT a pattern.
PNG member, numismatic dealer since 1965. Operates a retail store, also has exhibited at over 1000 shows.
I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

Come on folks - based on his feedback you have a 95% chance of being happy. People throw away money in Vegas with odds worse than that.....image If you keep the coins to yourself and never show them around, you can kid yourself into thinking you really scored.image

(Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. When I see coins like this offered, I often wonder who made them.

I asked the seller which dealers determined these to be patterns. Seller advised me that the items were determined to be patterns by Bill Coleman of Colemans Coins of Florida, at a "F.U.N. Show" in Florida about 4 years ago, and by J.T. Stanton at his booth at a show in New York City in 2001.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Did the seller explainwhy he has had these for 4 years if they were from an "estate sale?"
