Is PCGS slow(er) with larger submissions

I sent an economy in with 28 step nickels. They received 12-23-02. 53 days and no results. I see other economies back that were received later (some much later) than mine. Seems most that are back are smaller submissions (10 coins or so). If this is the case, I will submit smaller orders a little more frequently. I can stand the extra postage to have the coins back quicker.

Anybody else see this trend?

Thanks.

I have this feeling you will see yours soon. The pre-1965 were going slower than the Post-1964. I had two submissions of coins go out in the same package. The new stuff was graded about two weeks ago, and I just received notice on the older coins. Date Rec 12/30.

Mine posted today, rec 12/23/02. Call them and ask them where in the process yours are. If they are in verifaction it will be any day now.
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

  • My experience is that they are slower with larger submissions.
