Find out who the company is online and see if they list their graders and expertise!

    Hi Jeff,

I am here looking for information and/or opinions.

As far as slamming goes, you just did a little bit of slamming yourself by reading foul intent into an honest request for information from some others that might be more knowledgeable, or better informed than I am. There are a number of people here on this forum that make note of, and collect these items on a regular basis.

Most people around here know who to pay attention to, and who to ignore. If you're not sure who is who, a little more reading should make it more obvious.

    Go METS!!!
  • I really like the clear holder with the white insert ring. Kinda the best of both PCGS and NGC's slabs.
  • I just wish I could see that coin in person. It appears to be SPL, at least on the obverse. I would have to see it in person to make sure it hasnt been wiped. It looks pretty good otherwise.

Condor101 has them listed in THIS THREAD (see #7) but no info. Nothing comes up on Google.
  • Coin looks to be graded on the money. Don't worry, I will not jump in your auction. Never heard of the company, but remember to just
buy the coin. Not the holder. Best of luck.

The scans for this one look nice and it's graded at 64. The scans for the others he has listed that are graded 65 don't look as nice. The 83-O even looks to be heavily fingerprinted. I'd be more confident if I could see the coin in person. That's more or less why I was asking here. If anyone knew for sure whether they were accurate in their grading. I guess I should have asked that in the first posting, but I was looking for general info as well. Thanks for all the help, I'll stick my bid in at the end on this one.
  • I first started seeing those back in September of 2000. The company is out of East Meadow New York but I don't know the time frame in which they were active. The slab is well done and slightly larger han the current PCGS slab. I suspect that it is a fairly recent company because when they did first start showing up I saw a sharp rise in the number of pieces available but since then they have been dropping off gradually. I've seen about five or six dozen pieces, usually in groups. Truly old slabs seem to show up in groups as well but usually small groups of two or three pieces and they don't appear very frequently.
