Some of my favorite Frankies are the raw GEMs that I have been cherry picking from various stores all on the West Coast.... I have already made 3 DCAMs.... Here is a 56 that I paid 14 dollars for.... This one I have going just CAM, but a strong one. This coin has deep mirrors and a nice black and white contrast... With some lucy, maybe...maybe, a DCAM will happen.....

Stop it, HepKitty!!! You are making me dizzy with all these superb Frankie posts! I have no choice other than to post this stunning beauty once again....
The 50D is a really great MS65FBL - beautiful light golden tone over brilliant fields - a really "pretty" coin. Here are a couple of other favorites...
And here's something you don't see very often - a bright - almost PL 1953P
The longer I live the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice is it possible for an empire to rise without His aid? Benjamin Franklin
This was so much fun. You all have just amazing Franklins. Alas My better half is pregnant with our first, so I don't know how that will affect my collecting. But, without a doubt, this inspires me to get some more beauties for the collection. My thanks to all of you for participating.
Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.

ANACONDA- I've never even heard of a colorful 1960's Franklin, let alone see one!
Nice catch.
And Lucy! You must own some of the prettiest Franklins around. It's no wonder you love this series.
IrishMike: Neat coin. Is that one yours?

I never get tired of posting this one, a 49-S PCGS MS66FBL Brilliant PL.
This is one of my favorites also, a 48-P PCGS MS66FBL brilliant with the slightest hint of a rainbow hue.
This one is a tough NGC date, 1952-D MS66FBL
