I think it is now worth less than face value.

  • I'll save my laughter till when you submit some more that you have actually looked at, and still come back with 64s and 65s.

  • Actually I think you got pretty good results! Either you got lucky or the mint has improved their mint-set quality pretty dramatically of late.

I was thinking the same thing.

Most of the 2002 sets I've seen are nearly this nice. This is a huge improvement
    over even the recent past.

I'd have to agree with CladKing and Superman. The D mints did VERY well....I'm suprised you even got a 66 from the P mint. The one and only UNC mint set I bought recently was in 99 and it was a piece of crap. Of course, I never bought one again....you did well, IMO.

This is also a good educational tool and I think it is something new collectors should notice. Note how much better the D-mint coins did than the P mint. This is very typical for the US mints in recent years....actually for about the last 50 years...if you can call that recent. image

  • And just how much did all that grading cost ??
  • The D mint SAC $ suck!!!!!!!!!!!! The P mint is much better for these coins!!

  • The grading cost a friggin lot....I actually did pretty well with some Hecla stock lately so I figured I owed it to myself to act retarded...They charged me like 12 bucks a coin plus a butt load to ship....

By the way, If I ever, ever submit moderns in the future, do you recommend getting mint rolls or should I just forget about the whole thing and sick to proofs or getting something pre-slabbed?
