2002 Silver Proof Sets

I recently heard that the 2002 Silver proof sets were going up in price. Does anyone know the current grey sheet bid and ask prices? Thanks A lot.

Wilson, 2002 Sil. Prf. sets aren't even listed on the Greysheet as of yet, too new.

I think you are refering to the 2001's B=80.00, A=85.00 i hope this helps.

I was refering to the 2002, and forgot that the grey sheets don't list recent items, do you have anymore knowledge on the 2002s, and whether there is a premium or not? By premium i mean have they increased in value to above $31.95.

why is it that these sets sit at the mint all year long unsold and when they finally do sell out, the price doubles instantly?

meanwhile the 2000 sets can still be had for less than issue, yet i'd be willing to bet there are just as many 2002 sets out there as 2000 sets, maybe more.

it simply defies any sort of economic reasoning. it only strengthens my belief in the "herd" mentality when it comes to coins.
