I finally got me a 1999 Type Two Lincoln Cent! After over a year of searching for it. Only ever saw two on eBay and they were AU or less, or maybe just a real nasty looking brown UNC.

Anyway, I got one that is an MS66. So, I am happy.

Congrats! Was it raw or slabbed?

I always love when I find a coin that takes me a while to find. But I must admit that most of the time the search is more fun than the find. The find can sometimes be a let down knowing the search is over.

Here are some 2000's on Ebay. Here is a 1998 Type 2 on ebay also. 1998 type 2 I have not seen any 1999's on ebay tho. Nice find.

The coin is raw, but I am quite sure it will go MS66. Even if it only goes an MS65, I will still be happy. I am going to try to send it in to NGC for grading since PCGS does not recognize the variety.

I got 80 rolls at the bank last Friday, for something to do. The first roll had one 1998 and two 2000's. I thought that I was going to br on a roll! Nothing else in the other rolls. BUT, I was happy. They were the first ones that I have found. All three are MS's.

BullDog.....I changed my tag line.... But, if I can find any out of circulation, then I will surely keep them. Never hurts to keep trying to find more. With my luck, I will probably see 10 or 20 of them pop up on eBay.
